2011-12 (Sophomore): Set career-best times in the 50 yard freestyle (25.95), 200 free (1:56.75), 500 free (5:08.71) and 1650 free (17:24.01)...finished first in the 1000 free against Xavier at home on October 28...her career high mark in the 1650 free is the 11th fastest time in Marshall swimming history...was a member of the 400 yard freestyle relay team at the C-USA Championships that recorded a time of 3:34.78, the ninth fastest performance in Herd swimming history...two different times in the 800 freestyle relay were good enough to place in the top 20 all-time performances at Marshall (7:41.59-eighth & 7:49.33-17th)...was named to the C-USA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll.
2010-11 (Freshman):Recorded career-best times in the 50 freestyle (26.00) and 1000 freestyle (10:37.31) against West Virginia, 1000 free ranks sixth all-time at MU...had a pair of career bests against Ball State in the 200 freestyle (1:58.61) and 500 freestyle (5:12.28)...versus James Madison swam a best in the 100 freestyle in a time of 55.71...at the Conference USA Championships swam a career best in the 1650 freestyle in a time of 17:45.97, good for eighth overall in Marshall history...member of four relay teams that had times rank in the Top 20 in Herd record books: 200 freestyle (8th, 1:38.08, 2/25/11), 400 freestyle (5th, 3:33.62, 2/26/11), 400 freestyle (20th, 3:38.87, 10/23/10) and 800 freestyle (7th, 7:41.54, 2/23/11).
High School:Four year letterwinner at Bishop Hartley HS under coach Tony Phillips...a four-time All-CCL honoree, district and state qualifier, three-time All-Ohio honoree and district champion in the 200 and 500 freestyle (2010), 200 and 400 freestyle relay (2010) and finished third in state in the 400 freestyle relay...Also swam for the Reynoldsburg Marlins Summer League team.
Personal:Daughter of David and Theresa Aeling...has two sisters..cousin Mallory Hoffman swam at Baldwin-Wallace College...majoring in biology.
