Marshall, Davis & Elkins, Fairmont State, West Virginia Wesleyan, Wheeling Jesuit and WVU will be participating in the games. Friday’s events will begin with the diving portion at 2:45 p.m., while swimming will start at 4 p.m. The teams will close the day with a 7 p.m. banquet at Lakeview Golf Resort & Spa. Saturday’s events will begin at 9 a.m., followed by a break, with action resuming at 3 p.m.
"We are thrilled to be a part of this inaugural event,” commented head swimming coach, Russell Hunt. “The games will provide an exciting platform and will undoubtedly bring attention to swimming and diving around the mountain state."
"Taking this trip to Morgantown means preparing to perform against top notch competition. I'm sure we'll see a few of our younger players grow up quickly."
Head coach of diving, Jim Zagaria added, “I would like to see the girls implement what we have been working on in practice and take it to the event. I feel like we are physically and mentally ready for this meet.
“This meet is a good opportunity to see what it will be like to dive at conference, because the format is exactly the same.”
