HAVE YOU HERD?
For the second straight week, sophomore Alex Black (Palm Bay, Fla.) set a new lifetime-best time in the 200 breaststroke. Her personal-best time of 2:30.84 gave her a second-place finish in the event against Ohio.

Freshman Teel Hartmann (Louisville, Ky.) earned a place in Marshall’s record books as a top-10 performer in the 1,000 freestyle. She took the ninth spot on the list with a time of 10:34.28.

Senior Sarah Kay (Cape Town, South Africa) continued her solid 2013 season and picked up the Herd’s lone victory in the dual-meet loss against the Bobcats. She took first in the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:05.27.

SCOUTING THE HIGHLANDERS

Radford’s most-recent meet was against the Bulldogs. The Highlanders fell by a narrow ten-point margin, 135-125. Sophomores Sarah Fredericksen and Mary Flinn each posted first-place finishes for Radford. The Highlanders had top-two finishes in all, but one event on the day.
