The Thundering Herd women's tennis team downed WVU 6-1 at the Brian David Fox Tennis Center on Sunday afternoon.
Fall 2012 (Sophomore):Accumulated an 8-6 record in singles play and a 4-2 record in doubles... Teamed with Ellie Ball to finish third in the White Draw doubles bracket at the Kitty Harrison Invitational... Finished fourth in Navy Draw singles at the Kitty Harrison Invitational... Took third place honors in the Julie Shiflet Singles Flight at the W&M Tribe Invitational... Also teamed with Ball in the Michelle O Doubles Flight at the W&M Tribe Invitational to finish third... Advanced from singles qualifying with two wins at the ITA Atlantic Regional.
Spring 2012 (Freshman):Played to an overall 5-8 record in singles and an 8-4 record in doubles... Was 1-0 on court one, 2-1 on court two, and 5-3 from court three in doubles... Posted a 3-5 record in singles from the No. 6 court... Ended the season on a one-match winning streak in singles... Helped the team achieve a season-best national ranking of No. 54.
