The Marshall University women's tennis team gave senior Kristina Koprcina a fine farewell as it beat the Cincinnati Bearcats 6-1 at home.

The Thundering Herd women's tennis team downed WVU 6-1 at the Brian David Fox Tennis Center on Sunday afternoon.
Spring 2011 (Senior): Went 8-11 in singles and 8-5 in doubles play during the spring... Clinched a win for the Herd on her own senior day with a 6-1, 6-1 victory over Cincinnati's Sierra Sullivan in singles... Improved her career singles victories tally to 61 to move into 17th place on the all-time list... Accumulated 101 combined wins in her Marshall career... Ended her career on a two-match singles win-streak... Helped the team reach a season-best national ranking of No. 54 during the spring.
Fall 2011 (Senior): Posted a 6-4 doubles record and a 5-7 singles record during the fall season... Combined with teammate Kara Kucin to finish fifth place in the Wake Forest Invitational doubles B Flight with a 3-1 record... Finished third place in singles Flight C at the Wake Forest Invitational.
Spring 2011 (Junior): Played the majority of her matches from fourth singles and played to an overall record of 8-14... Was 1-2 from third singles, 7-11 from fourth singles, and 0-1 from fifth singles... Saw limited action in doubles and was 3-5 overall... Posted a combined spring record of 11-19... Had a 2010-11 overall record of 20-31.
Fall 2010 (Junior): Finished the fall with a singles record of 6-7, including three straight wins to conclude the William & Mary Invitational... Was 3-5 in doubles.
Spring 2010 (Sophomore): Posted a singles record of 15-6... Was 11-6 in sixth singles, 3-0 in fifth singles, and 1-0 in fourth singles... Was 4-3 in limited doubles action... Had an overall 2009-10 singles record of 25-10 and a doubles mark of 12-6.
Fall 2009 (Sophomore): Started her sophomore year strongly by going 10-4 in singles action and reaching the finals of two tournaments (William & Mary, Hokie Fall Invitational)... Was 8-3 in doubles play and claimed the William & Mary Invitational doubles title with teammate Thaddea Lock in Flight B play.
Spring 2009 (Freshman): Posted a singles record of 1-2 and a doubles mark of 2-5 in limited action.
Fall 2008 (Freshman): Had an impressive 8-6 singles and 6-5 doubles record in her first season playing division I tennis... In two weekends of play, Koprcina posted a 6-1 record playing at Michigan State and Virginia Tech tournaments... At the Kitty Harrison Invitational, Koprcina took straight-set wins over players from North Carolina-Greensboro and Winthrop... With teammate Catherine Kellner, defeated teams from Winthrop, Maryland, and East Tennessee State in the final weekend of play at North Carolina.
Prior to Marshall:Attended IV Gimnazija (Marko Marceliæ) for four years.
