2011-12:Indoor:Posted 6 top-15 performances... Started the season with a 4th place finish in the long jump at the UK Invitational... Placed second at the Akron Invitational... Closed out the season by scoring for Marshall at the C-USA Indoor Championships with a personal best 12.21m leap in the triple jump that was good enough for 6th place... Outdoor:Finished inside the top-15 at every meet she competed in... Set a personal best in the 100m at the Hiltopper Relays with a time of 12.19... Had an outstanding day at the Historic Penn Relays with a 9th place finish in hte long jump... Bettered her 100m personal best with a 1st place finishing time of 12.14 at the Ohio Open... Was part of the 4x100m relay team that finished 8th at the C-USA Outdoor Championships.
Prior to Marshall: Attended Stephen F. Austin State University during her freshman and sophomore years of college... Was the district champion in the long jump, triple jump, and 200 meter during high school... Was a regional qualifier in the triple jump and had a personal best of 38 ft in high school... Scored a personal best 19 ft. in the long jump... As a multi-sport athlete, Walker was the MVP of South Oak Cliff High School's Volleyball, Basketball, and Track teams from her sophomore to senior years.
Personal: Daughter of Mary Issac and Roy Walker... Has five sisters and four brothers... Plans to major in Business Marketing.
