DURHAM, N.C. - Alexis Duvaul, Brittany Carey and Chelsey Fowler all recorded personal bests and Andrea Jackson won the triple jump on Saturday at the Duke Invitational in Durham, N.C.

Jackson won her second meet of the outdoor season as her leap of 12.48m was one meter clear of North Carolina's Michelle Newman for first place.

Duvaul posted a time of 14.87 in the 100 meter-hurdles on her way to a 16th place finish. In the 400 meter hurdles, Fowler had a personal best time of 1:10.37. In that same event, Alecia Daniels placed sixth overall and crossed the finish line in a time of 1:03.83.

Carey had a career best in the 200 meter dash with a time of 25.98. In her first meet back since breaking her foot, sophomore Delkira Maybin ran very well in the 100 and the 200 meters as she placed 16th in the 100 (12.56), and 17th in the 200 (25.54).

The Herd continues action next weekend as the Herd travels to Knoxville, Tenn., to participate in the University of Tennessee Invitational next Saturday.
