Registration Deadline Nears for Track and Field High School Meet

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The deadline is nearing for schools to enter the high school track meet hosted by Marshall University at the Jeff Small Track at Chris Cline Athletic Complex.

The meet is limited to high school students (grades 9-12) only. Registration ends Wednesday February 24th, 2016 at midnight - or when 500 total females and 500 total males have registered - whichever comes first. Registration on the day of the event will not be accepted. 

Doors open at 7:30 a.m. on the day of the event, with the competition starting at 9 a.m. 

The entry fee is $20 per athlete, with no entry limitations on athletes. Please register at DirectAthletics.com, not Marshall University Athletics. Only entries placed on DirectAthletics.com will be accepted. Due to registration via DirectAthletics.com, no refunds will be awarded for non-showing athletes.

Parking for the event will be available in Marshall University's West Lot (next to Joan C. Edwards Stadium). Please follow the posted signs for event parking. 

The admission fee for spectators is $5, which will be collected as you enter the facility. Please enter the meet through the Marshall University Athletics Hall of Fame entrance (facing Third Avenue). Food and drink is not allowed inside the facility.
