Barnard rejoined the Herd in 2005 as a graduate assistant coach after a stellar playing career from 2000-03.
The Maumee, Ohio native finished her career with the Herd with 1,100 career digs, good for fifth all-time in school history. Barnard's 530 digs in 2003 set the school record for the most in a single season. She recorded a career-high with 32 digs on Sept. 9 2003, against Morehead
State.
Barnard graduated in 2004 with a degree in Sports Management and Marketing and is currently working toward her Masters in Athletic Administration. Her duties with volleyball will include on-floor instruction at practices and games, with a focus on floor defense. She also will help organize and run Marshall's summer volleyball camps.
