JUNIOR SEASON: Competed in 24 matches for the Herd in 2005... recorded 70 kills, 48 digs and 77 points.... had a season high 11 kills Sept. 3 against Rutgers... Held a hitting percentage of .204 with a percentage .500 or higher in six matches.... Sept. 9 posted her highest dig total of 10 versus intrastate rival West Virginia...

SOPHOMORE SEASON: Played in all 33 matches for the Herd and was solid on all fronts...recorded 238 kills on the season, fourth highest total on the team...had 39 service aces 294 digs and 48 total blocks for the Herd...the versatile Bimberg also had 92 assists...had a season-best 16 kills against UConn on Sept. 3...registered a .545 hitting percentage against Akron, while hitting .406 against UConn...Bimberg hit over .400 four times in 2004...had a career-high 20 digs against Northern Illinois on Oct. 8 and had 19 against Bowling Green on Nov. 12...put together a career-best 32 assists against Miami on Oct. 23...played in 126 of the Herd's 128 games in 2004.

FRESHMAN SEASON: Played in 36 matches and 102 games...notched 203 kills on the year...recorded 20 kills (career high) twice against Ball State (10/10) and Toledo (11/8) respectively...hit for an impressive .750 against Savannah State on 9/13 (16-1-20)...performance against Savannah St. was the best attack percentage on the team all season...first double-digit kill performance on 8/30 against Indiana State...exploded for 17 kills to lead the Herd to the MAC tournament finals in semifinal victory over Akron...had seven double-digit kill performances in her freshman year.

PRIOR TO MARSHALL: Provides the Herd with a multidimensional player with international club playing experience...nicknamed the "fireman" by her peers and coaches, because of her ability to play a number of different positions...has been a fixture on top-level German club teams (Schweriner SC, 1994-2000; VC Parchim, 2000-03)...in 1995, 1996, and 2001, her team won the German Junior Championships...in all other years since 1995, her teams have finished either second or third at the junior championships...in 1999, she took home the beach volleyball Junior Championship trophy...played on the same club team as other Herd newcomer Anja Wilk...she is the daughter of Hans-Joachim and Marion Bimberg.
