Started in 19 matches as a freshman and played in 25 ... recorded 103 kills at the middle-blocker position ... averaged 1.56 kills per set ... tallied a career-high 13 kills against Memphis (10/1) ... was third on the team in total blocks with 48 ... posted a career-high five blocks on two occasions (UCF, 11/24 and Cleveland State, 11/4).

Byous-McConnell went to Western Christian HS prior to attending Los Osos HS from 2008-10...four-time all-league selection...played for the Laguna Beach Volleyball and TCA-Huntington Beach club squads...competed in the Junior Olympics from 2007-10...played for the USA volleyball High Performance Team...named Best Offensive Player and a Los Osos Scholar Athlete as a senior...accumulated a 3.6 GPA...major is undecided.
