Recorded a team-high 120 sets played as a freshman, with 31 matches played and 29 matches started ... was fourth on the team in kills with 207 ... posted a 1.73 kills per set ratio ... had a career-high 15 kills on two occasions (Morehead State, 9/7 and Houston, 11/4) ... third on the team in attacks with 665 ... finished second on the team in assists with 51 ... recorded the most serve receives with 708 and second in total digs with 362 ... earned a career-high 23 digs against East Carolina (11/24) ... grabbed 15 aces on the year and had 33 total blocks ... selected to the C-USA honor roll.

Der competed her senior season at Floyd Central HS after playing three seasons at Providence HS...helped Floyd Central capture the 2009 4A Sectional Championship and Regional Championship...tallied 365 kills, 266 digs, 61 assists, 55 total blocks and 19 service aces as a senior...averaged 3.6 kill/set...named 4A All-State First Team, Prepvolleyball.com Senior Ace and Under Armor All-American Honorable Mention in 2009...garnered 2A All-State First Team as a junior and sophomore...member of 2007 2A Sectional Championship squad...part of the 2009 JVDA National Championship team, 2008 JVDA National Championship runner-up team and named an AAU All-American in 2005...participated in the 2009 Indiana North-South All-Star game...maintained a 3.98 grade point average...member of the National Honor Society...recipient of the Floyd Central English and Spanish Department Awards ...2009 Academic All-State honoree...majoring in advertising and Spanish.
