Started all 28 matches, and played in a total of 105 games...distributed a team-high 1,124 assists...her 10.70 assists-per-game ranked third in Conference USA...had 14 matches of 40-or-more assists, including a season-high 66 vs. UAB (9/28)...registered six double-doubles in 2008...recorded the only triple-double (12 kills-42 assists-12 digs) in C-USA in a four-game match at UAB (11/2)...returns with the second highest hitting percentage (.258) on team...ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA 2008 Academic All-District II second team recipient...C-USA All-Academic Team member...two-time recipient of the C-USA Setter of the Week award.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2007)
Played every game (132) in every match (32)...set a Marshall single-season mark with 1,642 assists...averaged 13.35 assists-per-game...per game average ranked 13th in nation and second among all freshman setters...dished out 73 helpers C-USA tournament finals loss to Tulsa (11/17)...recorded 72 assists at East Carolina (10/21)...named AVCA Honorable Mention All-American, AVCA All-Midwest Region squad, Midwest Region Freshman of the Year...garnered four C-USA Player of the Week awards...earned a spot on the All-C-USA Second Team and C-USA All-Freshman Team...named C-USA Freshman of the Year.
PRIOR TO MARSHALL
Fleming came to Marshall from John Adams HS in South Bend, Ind., where she achieved a 4.0 GPA...an all-conference honorable mention and team MVP as a sophomore...named first team all-conference and MVP her senior year...a three-year captain, member of the South Bend All-Metro team in 2007 and was the IHSAA poster girl...in 2005 her club team was second runner up in the National Open Championship...in 2006 team was the ASICS Nationals runner up...in 2007 team was the National American champion, and was named to the American All-National Tournament team...was a four-year letterwinner...majoring in International Affairs with a minor in French.
