SOPHOMORE SEASON: Lazar performed in 36 matches and started four matches in 2005... she posted three blocks in four matches (Texas-Arlington, Coppin State, UCF, Southern Miss) and 16 on the season... recorded 31 kills and a career high 7 against Coppin State...

FRESHMAN SEASON: Saw action in 19 matches for the Herd in 2004 as a freshman...Lazar had a season-best four kills against Miami (Ohio) on Nov. 13 and recorded 12 kills on the season...Lazar had 13 blocks on the year with her best total of three coming twice against Ohio on Nov. 13 and Miami on Oct. 23...Lazar also recorded two aces on the year, both coming at Ohio on Nov. 13...she played in 37 games for the Herd in 2004

PRIOR TO MARSHALL: Lazar enters her freshman year after a decorated playing career at East Lake High School where she was a three-year her senior season she was tabbed as a St. Pete Times Player to Watch and represented East Lake at the Pinellas County senior all-star match...she was chosen as her team's Most Valuable Player, best hitter, best blocker and best server as she led her team to the regional semifinals of class her playing career she was also dubbed honorable mention all-state in Florida her junior year along with garnering all-county and All-Suncoast second team recognition...Lazar played two years of club ball with the Pinellas Heat Elite and three years with the Tampa Bay Juniors...In 2002 her Tampa Bay Juniors 17 Black team finished fifth in the Open Division at the Junior Olympics Volleyball Championships in Atlanta...she was an honor roll student, a member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Peer Connectors, and co-editor of the school yearbook at East Lake...she is the daughter of Randy and Candy Lazar.
