Joined the Herd after playing for three different high schools in her career ... Legg graduated from Hurricane High School in Hurricane, W.Va., but also attended St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. From 2008-2010 and William Henry Harrison High School in Lafayette, Ind. From 2007-2008 ... during her career, Legg was selected to the All-State West Virginia volleyball team and the West Virginia MSAC All-Conference ... posted over 1,000 assists at Hurricane High School ... selected by her teammates as the Team MVP her senior year at Hurricane ... also honored as a West Virginia North/South All-Star Game pick her senior year ... played club volleyball for three different programs including, Club Florida, Ocean Breeze, and River Cities Thunder Volleyball Club ... was part of the National Honor Society, FCA, Mu Alpha Theta, Spanish National Honor Society, Student Council, Future Educators of America, and Friends of St. Francis ... received multiple academic awards including, Commended National Merit Scholar, AP Scholar with Distinction, graduated with High Honors, Principal's Honor Roll, American Math Exam School Winner, and will be Yeager Scholar at Marshall University ... father, Bill Legg, played for West Virginia University, played as a free agent for the Washington Redskins and is now a football coach for Marshall University ... expected to major in pre-med.
