AURORA, Ill. - The Marshall University volleyball team will compete in the Sports Performance Collegiate Invitational, its second off-season tournament of the spring April 19 at The Great Lakes Center. Play will begin at 8:00 a.m. with last match slated for 4:00 p.m.

Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students with a valid student ID. Children under 12 get in free of charge.

The tournament features 24 teams, broken into eight pools of three teams each. The Thundering Herd will compete in Pool E, against Michigan State and Georgia Tech.

The first round will pit Marshall will face the Spartans at 8:00 a.m. and the Yellow Jackets at 9:10 a.m. Following those matches Michigan State and Georgia Tech will square off at 10:00 a.m.
