The Lady Golden Eagles went 25-13 last season, with a 12-4 record in the Mountain East Conference. The 25 victories were the most by a UC volleyball team since the 2007 season.

Admission for the event is free of charge.

Marshall returns 11 student-athletes from last season, including rising seniors Justice Craft, Taylor Pelton and Kayla Simmons. The Herd also brings back Madelyn Cole, Madison Hill, Tiffany Isaacs, Jac'cara Walker, Jayden Jacobs, Shelby Conley, Lauren Mattmuller and Zoe Schreiber

The Thundering Herd held a 22-8 overall record and was tied for second in Conference USA with an 11-3 record in 2016. Marshall featured five student-athletes who received all-conference honors, which was the most the Herd has had in a single season since joining C-USA in 2005.
