Panthers Invade Huntington for Friday Evening Match

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall Volleyball will be back in the Cam Henderson Center for the second weekend in a row when FIU comes calling for a 6 p.m. match Friday evening.
It will also be Thundering Herd Kids Club “Game of the Month”. Members will receive free admission and have an opportunity to meet student-athletes and get autographs and pictures after the match. Registration for the Kids Club can be found here:

This is the second matchup between the two teams as Marshall captured a 3-1 win in Miami on October 6.
Have You Herd?
Marshall (8-14 overall, 3-4 Conference USA) dropped a five-set match to Rice last Friday before rebounding with a 3-1 win over Louisiana Tech on Sunday.
The Thundering Herd has two representatives in C-USA’s kill statistics, with Madison Hill checking in at fourth (4.15 per set) and Jac’cara Walker in ninth (3.83).
Walker is also fifth in service aces per set (0.43).
Madelyn Cole is sixth in assists (10.37), while Jessa Long is seventh in digs (3.40) and Addisyn Rowe is eighth in blocks (1.12).
Scouting the Panthers  
FIU was swept twice at home last week with losses to Charlotte on Friday and WKU on Sunday.
Helene Thelle currently stands sixth in digs per set (3.78) and Mariana De Paula Silva is ninth in blocks (1.11).
