IRVING, Texas - Marshall University sophomore setter Elizabeth Fleming (South Bend, Ind.) earned Conference USA Setter of the Week honors for the final week of regular season volleyball action as announced by the league office, Monday.

Fleming handed out a match-best 47 assists, averaging 11.75 per set during Marshall's 3-1 victory over East Carolina. Fleming also helped spark the Herd defensive effort, collecting nine digs and four block assists, while also contributing three kills against the Pirates. Fleming finished regular-season play with 1,057 assists and a 10.68 assists per set average. This is Fleming's second weekly honor this season and sixth of her career.

Fleming, who earned the season's first C-USA Setter of the Week accolade, has now collected 2,699 assists for her career heading into the C-USA volleyball tournament, and is ranked third on Marshall's career-assists list. Her 10.68 assists per set average places her third among league setters, while her season-total of 1,057 is good enough for fifth in the conference.

Fleming will look to guide the Thundering Herd's run in the C-USA tournament, beginning Thursday, Nov. 20-23 in Memphis, Tenn. Marshall enters tournament action as the 10th seed and will play its first round match against No. 7 Southern Miss.
