2011 Marshall Baseball Promotions

Group Tickets

If your group or organization is interested in scheduling an outing at Power Park in 2011 for a Marshall Conference Game, please contact the Marshall Ticket Office at 1-800-THE-HERD.

Youth Teams Take the Field:

Youth Baseball Teams can take the field with the Marshall players for the playing of the National Anthem! **To reserve your team for a game please contact Brad Lewis at (304) 696-6160 or email him at brad.lewis@live.marshall.edu (Teams will be given games on first come first serve basis).

Special Sunday Promotions:

Youth Baseball Day
Youth Baseball players aged 13 and under, wear your team jersey and receive FREE admission.

Round Third With the Herd
At the conclusion of Sunday games that aren't followed by Power games, children aged 13 and under can come down on the field and run the bases. *Weather permitting.

Season Long Promotions

Strike Zone Strikeouts
For every strikeout recorded for a Marshall Pitcher, one lucky fan will win a free game of bowling from Strike Zone Bowling Center in Huntington, WV.

Marshall University Bookstore Cornhole Challenge
2 contestants will face off at a game of cornhole. Each contestant will have 4 tosses. One point will be awarded for every bag that stays on the board while 3 points will be awarded for each bag that goes in the hole. The contestant with the most points after 4 throws will win $20 towards the Marshall University Bookstore. As well as being entered into a grand prize of being loaned books for free for a semester. Students can't miss out on this opportunity!

Mac-Reedo's Trivia Question
One lucky contestant will be chosen to answer a Marshall Baseball trivia question. If the contestant answers correctly they will win a $10 gift certificate at Mac-Reedo's!

Chick-fil-a Dizzy Bat Race
Two contestants will spin around a bat 10 times, and the first person to stumble to the finish line will win free food courtesy of Chick-fil-a!

Marshall Maniacs' Fan of the Game
A sign-up box will be located at the marketing table at each game. Between the 5th and 6th inning a winner will be selected and will be given a free Mini Bat courtesy of the Marshall Maniacs!

Qdoba Strikeout Inning
During the top of the 7th inning one contestant will be chosen. For every strikeout recorded in this half inning the contestant will win a $10 gift certificate to Qdoba. What if Marshall doesn't strikeout anyone you ask? The contestant will still walk home with a coupon for a free entree from Qdoba!

Youth baseball players! Wear your jersey and receive free admission to the game! Stay after the game to "Round Third with the Herd"! Also, be sure and stay after the game for team photo day! After a short cool down period players will be available to take pictures with the fans! *Please bring your own cameras.

Friday, May 6th East Carolina 7:00 PM
Conference USA series is presented by Qdoba Mexican Grill. Qdoba will be on site with promotional items to promote their store in Barboursville, as well as their store in Charleston that will be coming soon!

Saturday, May 7th East Carolina 7:00 PM
Conference USA Series is presented by Qdoba Mexican Grill. The first 100 fans in attendance will receive a FREE Marshall Baseball koozie courtesy of Qdoba! Also, help Marshall Baseball raise breast cancer awareness for our Breast Cancer Awareness Game. Wear pink or your official WV Komen Race for the Cure T-Shirt and receive a discounted ticket price of $4! Representatives from the WV Komen Race for the Cure will also be present to hand out giveaways for fans and survivors. The Marshall Baseball players will also be wearing pink gear during the weekend. The game used apparel will be auctioned off during the weekend, and for anything not sold during the weekend will be placed on Herdzone.com to be auctioned off.

Conference USA series is presented by MedExpress. The first 100 fans will receive a FREE Marshall Baseball item courtesy of MedExpress. Be sure to come early for your free gift as well as to honor our Marshall Seniors for Senior Day. We will also be honoring those that have served our country with Military Appreciation Day. Anyone with a military ID will receive FREE admission to the game. Marshall players will be wearing their special military uniforms that will also be auctioned off during the weekend.
