   Ben Adams joined the Marshall University athletic training staff in February 2023 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for the football team before being promoted to the Head Football Athletic Trainer in March 2025.

Prior to joining The Herd, he was a Seasonal Athletic Training Intern with the Atlanta Falcons from 2022-2023. After graduating from the University of Kentucky in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in kinesiology, he attended the University of Toledo and earned his Master's in Athletic Training in 2021 where he assisted with the football and women's basketball team.

He also had a semester-long clinical immersion with the men's soccer team at Clemson University.

Adams received his athletic training certification in 2021 before becoming a resident athletic trainer at Wofford College until 2022 with the football and women's basketball team. Adams is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association. He is originally from Hudson, Ohio and currently resides in Huntington, W.Va.
